A geotechnical investigation is necessary to determine and design the type of foundations, earthworks, and/or pavement subgrades required for the intended man-made structures to be built. The subsurface materials must be identified and characterized prior to intitating a construction project. Our geotechnical engineers and engineering geologist will help in providing a comprehensive yet cost effective geotechnical solution.
Learn MoreEGC has conducted numerous Phase 1, 2 & 3 Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) across Canada. An ESA is important for site characterization and reporting contaminated or potentially contaminated sites. The purpose of ESA due diligence is to make sure a purchaser's liability is limited. Our team will help identify the existence and scope of soil and/or groundwater contamination as well as the presence of hazardous building materials such as asbestos, lead paint, or mould.
Learn MoreMaterials testing and engineering inspection is required for many aspects of construction in order to maintain the quality control and quality assurance of the materials used. EGC support our clients by providing testing to ensure materials meet quality control standards, comply with regulations, and exhibit the physical characteristics required for construction including testing of concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates.
